The AJF Edge

Edge of AJFWe are all aware that in order to be a professional Inspector in Arizona you must be licensed by the Arizona Board of Technical Registration, but what is it that gives AJF Inspectors their “edge” and sets them apart from the rest? Here’s just a few of the reasons AJF out-performs the competition:

  • One-Stop Shop: AJF Engineering & Inspections is not strictly for your Home and Commercial Inspections, you can also include a termite, radon, pool or spa inspection. But we don’t stop there! Environmental Disclosure Reports and the appliance RecallChek program can also compliment your inspection.
  • Termite Inspection: Your AJF inspector is certified to conduct the Termite Inspection at the same time as the Home or Commercial Inspection. AJF, however, does not treat for termites. What does this mean for you? A strictly unbiased report of whether there is any termite activity present at the time of the inspection.
  • Printed reports: Your comprehensive Inspection Report, complete with a summary section including colored pictures, is printed on site and emailed to you the same day.
  • Experience counts: Newly licensed inspectors are only required to complete 30 inspections. In comparison, The AJF Team has completed over 50,000 inspections since 1996 alone. Prior to that, owners Paul Furman & Sharon Wolf-Furman started an inspection company in Philadelphia that is still in business today. Paul Furman not only puts each inspector through a strict “boot camp” prior to sending them out on their own, he continues to oversee field production and makes his expertise available for each inspector to call-upon on any given day.
  • Expectations and Communication: Upon scheduling an inspection with AJF Engineering & Inspections, our office staff takes the initiative to explain the inspection process to your client prior to the inspection so they are aware of the scope of the inspection and know what to expect. In addition, AJF inspectors articulate findings in a professional, clear and non-alarming manner.
  • Continued support: Just because the inspection is complete doesn’t mean AJF is done with you! You are always welcome to call us with questions about the inspection or for additional information about professionals who can help you or your clients with issues.

Knowing you and your clients have a professional and experienced inspector on your team not only gives you peace of mind, it ensures your client is able to make an informed purchase decision while reducing the risk for all parties involved.
